Celebrity Style Love!

Confession...

I stalk celebrities.

Or at least the clothes they wear.

Today I've rounded up four of my favorite celebs and my favorite outfits they've worn.

1. Reese Witherspoon

Is there really anyone cuter than Reese?

She has that quintessential southern belle charm and class. Her outfits range from preppy to classy to comfy. What's not to love?

2. Olivia Palermo

I first acknowledged Olivia when she appeared on "The City", Whitney Port's "The Hills" spin-off. Olivia is a trust fund baby making a name for herself in the fashion world. Most ALL of her clothes are designer  - aka cannot afford - but she's a great icon to follow and recreate. Not to mention, she's absolutely beautiful.

Also the textures and the richness: Olivia Palermo: corporate edge, cropped pants, platform shoes. Great for a creative corporate space.

3. Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery

New photo of Lucy Hale for “Become with us”:

I love a girl with spunk, so Lucy Hale fits the bill! Her character Aria Montgomery on "Pretty Little Liars" has the best fashion on television, hands down. She is such a cute girl anyway, she can pull off all of the extreme looks seen on Aria.

4. Emily Maynard

Emily Maynard is best known for her tragic story.

And her tragedy became fame on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette"

Emily is beautiful, no doubt. She's classy and has the sweetest southern accent as well. We should be besties, Emily! She may have had a stylist on TV, but her everyday outfits prove she still has style.

Emily Maynard is my personal Saint. | She is damn pretty. She is a good mother. She has a big heart. She always conducts herself in such a great way. She is well spoken. She is a cat person. She has such style. And killer charm. She defines beauty for me, and she inspires me to be a better me.: Emily maynard...leopard and leather: Love this colorful tank and bright shorts!:

Let's Talk - Resolutions and Anticipation!

Welcome to a new monthly link-up called "Let's Talk..."!

Andrea and Erika invite you to share your thoughts and ideas on the given topic of the month. Posts go live on the last Monday, and you can link up too!

Here's what we are talking about this year:

Today we are going to talk more about our New Year's Resolutions and things we are most looking forward to in 2016. You can see my 2016 Resolutions here.

Sometimes we share our resolutions and never think twice about them. I appreciate this opportunity to check in on myself.

The 2016 Make It Happen Powersheets from the Lara Casey Shop! Here's a sneak peak at my order, I'm so excited to get started. Setting goals and crushing them to be the best girl boss out there! | thebewitchinkitchen.com

I shared with you that I am using Lara Casey's Power Sheets to stay more intentional with my goals and plans for the year. I am absolutely loving this notebook! It's like she knows exactly where I struggle and how to tackle each goal. She's a Godsend for sure.

Solo Travel Destination: Scotland http://solotravelerblog.com/solo-travel-destination-scotland/:

I'm hoping this is the year I finally get to travel abroad. Scotland is at the top of my list. It definitely gives me something to look forward to (and save money for).

School is back in session, and I'm really looking forward to my studies this semester. When you enjoy what you do and what you're learning, school is infinitely better! The intense environment and strict demands can be exhausting at times but I know this degree is going to be so worth it!

I'm nowhere close - I can run a 5k - but I do plan to run a half marathon again by the end of this year. I used to run all the time (for some reason I don't look anything like a runner...) and the last half marathon I ran was in 2012. Time to hit the pavement.

He may drive me batty sometimes, but I love this little guy. The years go by so fast and I want to make every moment count. I can't believe he's soon to be 8!
(I adopted him two years ago.)

These are just a few things I am looking forward to this year.

Let's talk! What's on your 2016 agenda? Let me hear from you in the comments.

Have a great week!

January Book Review!

This was a BIG month of reading!

Having some time off school allowed me to read a lot more for fun, and I've got some great suggestions for you!

(Be sure to read all the way to the bottom for a GIVEAWAY!)

A Trip around the Sun: Turning Your Everyday Life into the Adventure of a Lifetime

I love Mark Batterson, and this book did not disappoint! How to make your everyday life an adventure? Sign me up!

The 5 Love Languages Singles Edition

I read the original Five Love Languages a few years ago, so I thought I would explore this one too. If you are not married - you are a single. Don't get hung up on the word "single". Even if you're in a relationship - you're a single. I think this book should be a requirement for youth groups everywhere! Who couldn't benefit from learning about love and communication?

Beth Moore finally put out a new book, so of course I gobbled it up immediately! I love Beth. She's so real, well spoken and you cannot help but be changed by her writings. Beth tells you that you are audcaciously loved - and you can audaciously love God in return.

This book is not for the Seminary scholar. It's for everyday people like you and me. There is so much "end times" and "prophecy fullfilled" in our faces these days, it's hard to know truth. That being said - learn it for yourself! This book guides you through accurately interpreting Scripture and prophecy.

Big Little Lies

LOVED this book!!! Liane Moriarty will definitely be returning month after month. This story is so good, you have to read it!

Beautiful story! A great pick for history lovers set in World War II France.

I've chosen the Bible study Stuck by Jennie Allen for my latest studies. I'll have to let you know how it turns out when I finish in a few weeks, but so far it is just what I needed. God desires for each of us to live wholly and freely in Him!

Friday Favorites!

Well, friends, we made it another week!

Is it just me, or did this week seem super long?

As always, I'm linking up with AndreaErika and Narci for their Friday Favorites!

I'm never cold, but little man has been freezing almost every day. He can always be found snuggled up somewhere cozy! (That pink robe is sooo manly...!)

He's had enough cold mornings for awhile.

I absolutely love cold weather - 32 Totally Not Weird Non-Sexual Fetishes You Might Have:

I learned a new word this week - chinophile. I love LOVE cold weather!
Why am I in South Mississippi?...

I have been on the lookout for a new pair of gold pumps lately because I have worn mine completely out. I found these gorg Ivanka Trump pumps while browsing online. Aren't you in love?!

The photos just don't do them justice!

If y'all see any awesome gold pumps out there, let me know! I can't find any I truly like.

After all...

"You can tell a lot about a person by their shoes." - Hanna Marin

You've seen Peanut's scar on his hip and his little bald butt from before I adopted him. My dad has been telling me to order some Dinovite for Peanut. Apparently it works like doggie Rogaine. We will see... Peanut lapped the Dinovite up last night! I honestly believed he would refuse it. I mixed it in his Little Champions meal, and he never noticed.

He got some Nub Nubs with his order.

I have begun a new Bible study, Stuck by Jennie Allen. I really liked her books, so I thought I would give her Bible studies a try.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

All About that Face!

One thing that I've always been super protective of is my skin.

I have extremely fair skin, but it's not sensitive. I can use pretty much whatever products I like, so I have had the opportunity to try several through the years. Today I am highlighting some of my favorite Masks, Moisturizers, Peels and Primers.

(*Disclosure - I am not being compensated for this post. Opinions are strictly my own.)

(**Although it seems I should probably become an Aloette consultant...!)

MASKS

I have never found one Aloette product that I don't like. This Warming Pumpkin Energizing Masque is no exception. I love the way it feels on my skin and how good my skin looks after each use.

Aloette also carries this HYDRA Peeling Masque. This is the kind you peel off rather than wash off. I tend to wash anyway because it gets hard to see the residue to peel. My skin feels so fresh afterwards.

I cannot recommend Aloette's muddy UP enough! This stuff gets it ALL out of those pores. It's absolutely amazing.

MOISTURIZERS

My number one favorite moisturizer is Aloette's Nutri-C Moisture Creme. It smells great, dries quickly, and leaves my skin in the best possible shape. I use it daily before applying foundation.

Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer is a go-to on days I don't wear foundation. It gives my skin just enough color to keep me from scaring folks and provides a subtle illumination.

You can't go wrong with the Bobbi Brown Moisturizing Creme. It's a little more expensive for about the same results. Its worth trying though.

PEELS

This stuff is fantastic, y'all! Really. You know that feeling you get when you rub your palms together and create all that friction? You skin starts to slough off and get all gross? That's what this Aloette Restorative Enzyme Peel does without the rubbing. You just massage into your skin all your dead skin starts sloughing off. This is an absolute must have!

I probably would never have tried Dr. Dennis Gross's Alpha Beta Peel had I not received a sample with a Sephora order. I mean, who can put something called "Gross" on your face?! It turned out to be an awesome little peel. However, I much prefer the Enzyme Peel above.

PRIMERS

I've only been using primers the last couple of years. Beauty has evolved so much that it's hard to keep up sometimes. Primers have become a no brainer for me. They even out skin tone and smooth out those pores. The MAC Prep + Prime is top notch.

Another inexpensive primer that I love just as much as the MAC is Maybelline's Baby Skin Pore Eraser. Your skin really does look and feel baby soft.

Revlon Photoready primer is a great everyday choice for those not wanting to invest big $ on something you can't see.

There really are a lot of great products out there!

What are some of your favorite masks, moisturizers, peels and primers? I'd love to hear from you in the comments!
